"Let's go to the village" is a moment of celebration of local traditions, inviting everyone to take part in sharing the knowledge and flavours of Monchique, with the participation of guests, aiming to promote complementarity between territories and intercontinental relations.

The voice and traditions of our community are the creative thread for this project, where the particularities of our municipality and our territory allow the entire idea to be developed.

Traditions are, therefore, the foundation of creation.

Some streets in the village are closed not only to organise the initiative, but also to change the pace and encourage visitors to explore the main areas, corners and hidden spots, so that the public square becomes a place of celebration and festivity of traditions.
