Discovering the geodiversity of Serra de Monchique - Full
More than a simple walk... we propose a thematic route around the geodiversity of the Serra de Monchique, where the interpretation of the rocks and landscapes allows us to travel through time 350 million years ago. On the route, it will be possible to step on the bottom of an ancient ocean, touch rocks that testify the formation of a mountain range, and explore the stories of the Serra de Monchique's rocks, which are responsible for the unique properties of Monchique's waters.
