Circular walking trail starting and ending at the western foot of Cerro do Castelo de Alferce. The itinerary develops around this emblematic elevation, which contains archaeological remains from different civilizational moments, passing next to the Monchique river and the Demo ravine. The route provides observation of the remarkable Cerro do Castelo de Alferce from different perspectives, highlighting its impregnability.
Appropriate clothing and footwear for this purpose, including a hat (if it's a sunny day) or waterproof coat/coat (if it's a rainy day). Footwear must be suitable for paths with little grip, namely descents and ascents on dirt. The use of hiking poles is suggested.
